Aristea Tournament Report and Results

Good day everyone!

What a tournament it has been.  A lot of development took place and everyone enjoyed the day fully.

With 230 learners registering and in the end only 188 playing, made for some computer difficulties early on.  (We as administrators also developing!).  At the start of the 3rd round, we decided to shorten the tournament to 4 rounds only, to finish on the scheduled time.  Everyone was in favour.

I want to congratulate all the players on their participation and the good sportsmanship that was shown throughout the day.  Like Mr Reon Hunter says: "We don't loose a chess match, because even when  losing, we learn and gain knowledge on the game!"  Thank you for your support.

See you again next year!
