Good day to everyone
Well can you believe it, we are almost done with the second term. A term that has been a good one for Chess at Aristea!
Our learners are currently writing exams, thus no chess at school again until next term.
Hopefully I will get next terms fixtures before the end of the week.
For those interested, there is a big chess tournament (festival) taking place at the Cape Town Stadium in the holidays, from the 3rd to the 10th of July. See the post below for more information.
Here then are the results for our matches that we played:
Opponent Result
Meridian won by default
Durbanville draw 3 - 3
Webnerstreet u/11 won 5 - 1
Webnerstreet Girls lost 0 - 6
Belhar won 5,5 - 0,5
CL Willmot draw 3 - 3
Congratulations to all our players! You did us proud.
Keep well and drive safe this holiday season.
Looking forward to another good term of chess!
:-)
