League Match 2 vs Durbanville

Updated post:
I uploaded the two photos that was taken during the day on the photos tab.
For your convenience, you can just click here to go to the tab.

Good day everyone!

This is what happened on Friday, the 10th of May in our second league match.  This time against Durbanville Primary at their school.

But first, let me take you back to this week and Tuesday, where we had to finalise who is going to play on Friday and at which board number.  I chose 8 boys who played each other in three rounds, and the final results provided me the players and the board numbers, which were as follows:

1. Liam Meyer
2. Craig Strydom
3. Jacques Claassen
4. Chad McKenzie
5. JJ Oosthuizen
6. Trevor Rademeyer
7. Ndinani Sibelekwana

During the match (the result form I will get from Durbanville and post here on Monday), only two of our boys won their games, namely, Chad and Trevor. Congratulations!

Thus we unfortunately lost the match, 2 - 4.

A BIG thank you to Mr. Delport, providing the bus transport, and congratulations to Durbanville.  We wish you all the best for your league games this year.

This coming week:
Our second friendly tournament takes place this coming Friday, the 18th of May.  Depending on the number of entrants, we will provisionally play again in Mrs Grobler's classroom like last time.  More details will follow closer to the time.

I will also try to upload daily puzzles again this week, so keep an I out for that!

I hope you have a great weekend.

:-)
